Life is not a straight line.

Looking back, what appears today as a coherent journey was in reality a series of passions, encounters, challenges and discoveries that gradually shaped who I am.

From magic to engineering, from business leadership to service, from technology to the exploration of consciousness, every experience has contributed to a deeper understanding of people, perception and human potential.

This is my journey.

Roots

Every journey begins with a story.

I was born and raised in Italy, deeply influenced by the values of family, curiosity and perseverance. My parents taught me the importance of commitment, integrity and the courage to pursue one's aspirations.

From an early age, I developed a fascination for understanding how things work — not only machines and technology, but also people, ideas and the invisible forces that shape our lives.

These foundations would accompany me throughout every stage of my professional and personal journey.

Magic & Perception

Long before becoming an entrepreneur, I became fascinated by magic.

What began as a childhood passion evolved into a lifelong exploration of perception, attention and human behaviour.

Magic taught me something that has remained with me ever since:

Reality is not always what it appears to be.

The art of illusion revealed how easily our minds construct narratives, draw conclusions and mistake perception for truth.

Many years later, this insight would influence not only my work as an illusionist, but also my reflections on leadership, communication and consciousness.

Engineering & Business

My academic path led me to engineering, providing a structured framework for analysis, problem solving and innovation.

Over time, this foundation evolved into a career in business leadership.

As Chief Executive Officer of Paglieri, I have had the privilege of leading one of Italy's historic companies while navigating the challenges of growth, transformation and international markets.

Business has taught me that success depends not only on strategy and execution, but also on vision, values and the ability to inspire people toward a shared purpose.

Leadership Through Service

One of the most meaningful dimensions of my life has been service.

Through Rotary International and numerous institutional roles, I have had the opportunity to work with leaders, professionals and communities dedicated to creating positive impact.

These experiences strengthened a conviction that continues to guide me:

Leadership is not about power. Leadership is about service.

True leadership begins when personal ambition is balanced by responsibility toward others.

Innovation, Technology & Human Potential

Throughout my career I have maintained a deep interest in innovation and emerging technologies.

Artificial intelligence, digital transformation and scientific progress are reshaping the world at an unprecedented pace.

Yet the most important question remains profoundly human:

How can technology help us become wiser, more conscious and more connected?

My reflections increasingly focus on the relationship between innovation and human development, exploring how progress can remain aligned with ethics, meaning and purpose.

Consciousness & Reality

In recent years, my interests have expanded toward questions that lie at the intersection of science, psychology, philosophy and spirituality.

What is consciousness?

How much of reality is shaped by perception?

Can meaningful coincidences reveal deeper patterns?

These questions inspired much of my writing and research, including my ongoing work on The Illusion of Reality.

I do not claim to have definitive answers.

What fascinates me is the exploration itself.

The Sea, The Sky and the Search

Beyond business and public life, I find inspiration in the sea, aviation, photography and travel.

These experiences remind me of the importance of perspective.

Whether navigating across the Mediterranean, flying above familiar landscapes or observing the world through a camera lens, I am continually reminded that every journey changes the way we see reality.

And often, changing the way we see reality changes reality itself.
